Es scheint so, als ob Apple am 9. September nichts mehr präsentieren (können) wird, was schon nicht vorher bekannt ist. Zu den zahlreichen Leaks vom iPhone 6S und 6S Plus gesellen sich neue Erkenntnisse bezüglich Apple TV.

Bewegungssensoren und physikalische Knöpfe

Einem Bericht von Matthew Panzarino zufolge, wird neben dem Apple TV auch die Remote aktualisiert werden (was nicht ganz neu ist). Diese soll ein Touchpad auf der oberen Vorderseite, ein Mikrofon für Siri sowie mechanische Knöpfe auf der unteren Vorderseite als auch Bewegungssensoren verbaut haben – ähnlich wie bei der Wii.

Panzarino schreibt, dass Apple hier vor allem in Casual Gamern (Gelegenheitsspielern) eine Zielgruppe sieht:

A game controller with a microphone, physical buttons, a touchpad and motion sensitive controls would be extremely capable. While Apple is likely going to target the broad casual gaming market, I would not be shocked to see innovative gameplay blossom from that type of input possibility. Think, for instance, of multi-player gaming with several people using voice input, or many popular genres of party games that would do far better on the TV than on an iPad or iPhone.

The experience of using it is said to blow away the types of junky smart TV interfaces we’ve had to deal with so far. This is the first real Apple TV product.

Am 9. September wird Apple höchstwahrscheinlich, neben neuen iPhones, auch das langersehntes Update für das Apple TV vorstellen. IN der Gerüchteküche spricht man aktuell von einem A8–Chip, einem App Store, Siri-Anbindung und neuem Betriebssystem. In Kombination mit einer überarbeiteten Remote und HomeKit könnte Apple mit dem Apple TV ein zentrales Steuerungsinstrument für das automatisierte Heimaterlebnis vorstellen. Ein geplanter TV-Streamingdienst verzögert sich wohl auf 2016.
